The hybrid system does not work, causing errors on the dashboard, as well as no electric drive, no air conditioning and no 12v battery charging – the latter tends to make the car break down and have various other electrical symptoms.
The hybrid battery reports internal faults or cell voltage measurement faults.

P0A1F-49 – When we investigate the faults in the hybrid battery system we almost always see the following fault – ‘P0A1F-49 Battery Energy Control Module – Internal Electronic failure’ in the BECM and as such this also requires repairing. There is an extra cost of £850 inc VAT for this repair should we find this additional fault.

If you have these codes, your fault will be a CSC fault.
If you have a different fault or want to investigate further then please contact us.
We remove the hybrid battery from the vehicle (located under the body on the right hand side) and remove the lid.

With the lid off, we check modules, each covered with an orange plastic cover. These can be removed to reveal the CSC.

The boards are sent for repair and returned with a lifetime warranty.
