Description of Faults

The hybrid system does not work, causing errors on the dashboard, as well as no electric drive, no air conditioning and no 12v battery charging – the latter tends to make the car break down and have various other electrical symptoms.

The hybrid battery reports internal faults or cell voltage measurement faults.

Typical Fault Codes – 2014

P0A1F-49 Cell supervision circuit (CSC): Internal electronic failure
P0B3C-04 Suspected cell voltage reversal
P0B3C-62 Hybrid battery voltage sensing: sum of cells doesn’t match total voltage

Typical Fault Codes – 2016

P0AF9-00 Suspected cell voltage reversal
P0B58-00 Hybrid battery voltage sensing: sum of cells doesn’t match total voltage

Your faults codes may be slightly different – contact us if required.

If you have these codes, your fault will be a CSC fault.

We remove the hybrid battery from the vehicle (located under the body on the right hand side) and remove the lid.

Note: High voltage safety procedures apply when working inside the battery pack. We, here at GT Service Centre are trained and qualified in Hybrid vehicles

With the lid off, we check modules, each covered with an orange plastic cover. These can be removed to reveal the CSC.

The boards are sent for repair and returned with a lifetime warranty.

Note: In very limited occasions the battery cells may fail causing extra work and costs, we will advise if this is the case.
